Vehicle Description
The Astro has 186,000 miles with the 4.3l Vortec v6 motor. Very reliable, starts right up and runs excellent! Easily cruises 75 on the highway, plenty of power to haul anything but doesn’t suck down gas like a v8 would. With a trailer hitch installed, could pull a trailer with no issues. Trailer hitches are about $125. The automatic transmission shifts great, doesn’t slip, doesn’t jump, etc.
No known issues at all, no lights on in the dash, mechanically sound. No rust on the car. Just had over $2000 in mechanical repairs finished. (See last picture) Plus a new transmission put in while it was in service at 163k miles.
This Astro was a Pepsi delivery vehicle in it’s past life, now is just driven around town for fun as a secondary vehicle. It will make a great work van for anybody in need and won’t let you down! Has over 100 service records from Pepsi; even has the original window sticker.
Interior is very nice and clean, empty back end with plenty of room for things. Radio works great too. All lights inside and outside work as they should. Very nice window tint installed in the rear, around 30% tint making it hard to see in but easy to see out.
Overall it’s an amazing van that can easily be daily driven and used for any type of use. If you’d like to come see the van, shoot me a message and we can setup a time. Located in Greensboro NC asking $4900 obo! It’ll be hard finding a nicer van.
