I added a couple of aftermarket items to the car:
1. MGW Short throw shifter
2. Kenwood Double-Din Audio System. This adds Apple Car Play/Android Auto, Bluetooth for hands-free calling, etc. I had the bezel surrounding the radio custom fitted so it looks like the car originally was equipped with the Double-Din radio.
3. New door speakers
4.WindsRestricter Wind Screen to reduce wind in the cockpit when the top is down. This windscreen has red LEDs which you can light up at night.
A little history on this. Back in late 2015 I took a job where I was given a company car as my every day driver. I felt it was a sign that I deserved a fun weekend car, so I sold my car and acquired this beauty with 41000 miles on it in 2016. I've loved and garage kept this baby ever since.
There is a unique feature/conversation started on this car that is very cool. You will see in the picture of the engine compartment that this car has a bunch of signatures on one of the Fuel Rail Covers. Those are of the Corvette racing team, including Corvette Plant Manager from 1993-2008, Will Cooksey.
Why am I selling her? As the new year started, I began a new job and now the company car is gone, so I need an everyday driver again. It was great owning her, but it's not feasible for me to own and pay for two cars at this point, so it's time for her to find her next home.
