Vehicle Description
Not the best looking truck, but is mechanically sound and has not let me down once. In the past year I took it on two 1,000+ mile road trips with a camper and it hasn’t skipped a beat.
The good:
Strong 8 cylinder and four wheel drive is great for mountain passes. Timing belt done a year ago. New battery. New ignition. Front end work recently done. Have paper work on all work in past year. Brand new tires and an add-a-leaf to firm up the rear suspension. Ladder rack is in good shape and very useful. Would make a great work truck or winter 4wd commuter. Working radio and good sound on speakers.
The Bad:
Not the most handsome truck out there. Dented bumpers, dent in rear passenger bed panel. Rear side windows inoperable. Missing nobs on climate control cluster. Tailgate handle busted.
Various other cosmetic and minor flaws, but it’s a twenty year old truck.
Only selling because I needed a full size truck for work, and now need to consolidate the fleet a little. Was working on a flatbed for this truck that I never completed, about 50% done with fabrication. Would make a great lite plow truck, find a plow and I’ll get it mounted up for you.
Also still have the camper and would consider selling as a package for another 900 or so.
