Used 2000 Toyota Avalon XLS - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... for sale in Minneapolis, MN

This is an excellent car that runs great, shifts well, rides smooth, and is very reliable. It has some very nice convenience features as well like: Sunroof, Leather seats, Heated front seats, and big backseat with lots of legroom.

We are the second owners and have owned for close to 4 years now. We purchased the car from the elderly original owner who took excellent care of the car for 17 years. We have also kept very good care of the car and kept up with all maintenance items on time. I have a folder of all maintenance records from when we have owned the car as well as records from the original owner. I also have the original window sticker and books from when purchased new.

I have the Carfax on hand that I ran before purchasing in 2017. It shows it was a 1 owner car (now 2 owner) and no accidents reported.

There is next to no visible body rust. (Small pinpoint rust spots on hood from rock chips. See pictures)

Extremely clean! Handles the snow like a champ, has never left us stranded. This car cost $34,000 new back in 2000.

Just some of the maintenance items that we have had done on the car in the last 20,000 miles:

* New tires in 2018 around 150,000 miles (warrantied for 55,000 miles through discount tire) - over $400
* New rims in 2019 from discount tire - over $400
* New brake pads, rotors, and calipers front (2019) and back(2018) - over $500
* New radiator and upper and lower radiator hoses along with coolant flush this fall- $600
* Replaced rear sway bar links in August - $150

Cons:
- It is used car and has scratches and dings. Some which have been painted with matching touch up pain. The driver rear door has some dents from the prior owners. No scratches where rust will start, but is dented. (Tried to show the major areas in pictures)

- The check engine light is on. It is for a charcoal canister in the exhaust system. Because it has no affect on drivability or performance of the car I have not addressed it. (Attached picture of the code)

- the CD player has a CD stuck in it from the previous owner. Never even tried using it.

Overall, this a great car that is ready to roll. It rides like a Lexus! Only selling because we had the opportunity to upgrade recently and no longer have a garage space for this one.
