Used 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport for sale in Sedona, AZ
Vehicle Description
We bought this hard top Jeep a few years ago thinking we'd do a lot of off-roading in our retirement. Instead it has become more of a daily driver around town for shopping and errands - not the kind of life a Jeep deserves. Plus, and I hate to admit it, it's difficult for these old bones and joints to get into and out of.
It's stock with no major alterations. Used but not abused. It has the original, indestructible inline 6 cylinder engine with manual transmission. The tires are in great shape plus a full sized spare. It has a radio that can be removed. The upholstery is in good shape with a small split on the side of the driver's seat and there are two Dickey seat covers. There are rubber floor mats up front, carpet and rubber floor mats in the rear cargo area. Included is a like new full car cover and a folding tray table that attaches to the tailgate. It's a 2 person jeep as we removed the back seat for gear storage.
It starts every time, shifts smoothly, the 4WD works great as do the brakes. All of our service records are available.
The only "issues" are:
1) small crack in the vinyl on the driver's side & small tear on side of driver's seat
2) the horn is on the dash not part of the steering wheel
3) the medium speed on the dash fan doesn't work
4) gassing up takes a bit longer due to some sort of vapor/venting issue - when pumping fuel into the tank the
pump nozzle shuts off too soon - we found it to be an inconvenience rather than a major issue
At 21 years old, it has the typical dings, dents and scratches. I would rate it at very good but CL doesn't supply that option.
Overall, it's a great little beast that needs someone who will appreciate the rig and put it to proper use.
