Used 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with New Engine! for sale in Houston, TX
Vehicle Description
This is a great opportunity to get a Jeep with lots of new parts for a low price. It will provide many years of cheap transportation with just a little bit of occasional tinkering.
New parts or recent repairs:
New engine 2018!
New starter 2018
New battery 2018
New rear brakes 2018
New front shocks 2018
New rear shocks 2021
New rear lower control arms 2021
New transmission mount 2021
New belt and tensioner 2021
All fluids drained and flushed including differential fluid 2020
Everything else is in good working condition with a few minor exceptions:
The passenger window has slipped of it's track. I have it wedged closed.
The right rear blinker is intermittent. I've determined that the relay module needs to be replaced. With the headlights on, though, everything works. (10 minutes work, $35 from RockAuto)
The upper control arm bushings are shot. ($14 for both from Rock Auto, 2-3 hours work, about $300 if you pay someone else to do it).
All in all, this is a good car with most of the high ticket items recently repaired. It has only 40k miles on a rebuilt engine. I bought it last year when the pandemic forced me to come back to the States from Europe where I had been living. I'm selling it now because I'm going back overseas. I'm also including a set of wrenches, sockets and a pair of jumper cables.
