2000 Dodge Ram SLT 2WD QuadCab
History:
The truck was owned by my brother-in-law for 12+ years. He used it to drive 3 miles to work each day and towed his pontoon boat trailer twice a year. He was selling it because he wanted a 4WD vehicle for hunting.
We bought this truck for our son. He drives his Cobalt primarily.
After we purchased the truck we had the front brake lines & hoses replaced, the entire distributor/rotor/cam timing assembly replaced, the oil pressure sending unit replaced, the crank positioning unit replaced, the exhaust piping and muffler replaced, and an oil change performed. The check engine is not lit. It functions propery. It comes on only at start up and then goes out. The truck runs great!
Known issue:
-the climate control only blows hot
-body rust
Salvage title:
The truck was involved in a front end collision when the truck was 2-1/2 years old way back in 2003 before my brother-in-law bought it. The hood, fenders, and front bumper were replaced.
