I’m selling my 1962 Studebaker Lark 2dr 6cyl automatic trans, with 65,000 orig miles and I have a clean title. The reason I’m selling is because my wife has been out of work for 3 months now and I’ve decided to get out of the old cars and for other reasons.
I have done a lot of work on this car already and I also have a lot of the parts to finish the car and all the parts are BRAND NEW! When I was driving it this past couple of years I had the radiator re-cored which cost $600 and I had the carb rebuilt at close to $200 I also put $500 into the front end with inner and outer tie-rods. I had also this past Spring installed a brand new Battery. The rear axle has been taken out and installed all new leaf spring bushings, new shocks, fuel tank has been reconditioned, and new fuel sending unit. Rear part of the frame has been painted and the rear part of the body underside has been undercoated, and all parts were reinstalled with all new hardware.
As can be seen by the pictures the fire wall has been painted as well as the front of the frame and frontend parts. The brakes are good with no issues at all. The nose of the car has been taken off and is in complete primer ready for paint. The floors have been patched and the complete floor has been fiber glassed.
I have a lot of NEW (not used) parts that go with the car as follows…
New carpet, sill plates, kick panels, dashboard pad, windlace, complete body seal kit which includes all door seals, trunk lid seal, cowell seal, vent window seals, window felts, window channels, windshield seal, rear glass seal, backup light seals, all hood bumpers. The engine ran great but a little hot, but found out the heat riser was stuck closed so I got a NEW exhaust manifold with all new heat riser, the engine had some oil leaks that’s why the engine is out so I have a COMPLETE engine seal kit. I also have the timing gears new (engine doesn’t have a chain but gears), a complete tune up kit with plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, oil pressure switch, wiper blades, all new hoses had been put on last year including heater core hoses, the starter and generator have been rebuilt to brand new. The engine is on a new engine stand that goes with the engine, The transmission has a new filter and gasket already installed and I have also front and rear seals not in yet, and I DID install a new ring gear on the converter for the starter. I also have Bumpers in Show chrome, NOS bumper guards, outside door handles, headlamp doors, tail lamp lenses, outside antenna, and four brand new tires and Speedo cable. I also have the paint for the outside of the car which is worth close to a thousand dollars alone that goes with the car. The rest of the car is in real good shape, no rot holes in the quarters at all. I also have some of the history on the car as well as all the shop manuals from a Dealer service dept. I also have detailed pictures of everything before it was taken apart for reassembly, which I can put on a flash drive and it will go with the car. I also have all the receipts.
