Purchased in and made trip from West Texas (360 mi.)—no pinging, no breakdowns or overheating.
Heater core o-rings are a common issue on these P38s), and after noticing a damp passenger floor, replaced the heater core (new) and OEM o-rings.
Performed coolant flush (running and driving to check new heater core connections—no leak).
HVAC controller panel LED is out, but AC and heater blow.
New spark plugs, fresh oil and steering fluid.
New air filter and cabin air filters.
EAS (air suspension) disengaged and replaced with coil springs by previous owner.
CD-ROM Nav system disconnected (Removed reader to start making space, will include).
9,000 winch, not tested.
ABS and traction control lights on, ABS turns off when driving.
Has passed vehicle inspection recently (wk of 5/5/21) with intent to register. Currently, New Mexico title in prev. owner's name.
Sad to see this go, but with new work situation, will not have time to work on this.
