I converted this van into a camper van, taking out the seats in the back and replacing it with ample storage space, a bed frame and extra lighting. As my trusted traveling buddy said, "It's like having a living room on wheels."
Plenty of space and truly has the comfort of a home, insulated well and provides warmth in the winter.
Open up the rear doors and you have the "kitchen" a platform I built to house my camping stove and coffee maker. As well as additional storage for the propane containers and cooking utensils.
I lived on the road for about two years. Once I started working in San Francisco the van sat, unmoved for a year.
I made the mistake of trying to take it on a long haul trip after it had been idle for so long, the t valve broke and the engine was lost. This is perfect for someone who wants to add a new engine or rebuild it entirely to their liking. Aside from this incident the only major trouble i dealt with in the past was a battery dying due to me leaving the light on. A reliable van that got me up mountains, provided shade in deserts, and ventured along off beaten paths to find the perfect camp site.
I have it listed at 4,000 O.B.O. because of all the work that has gone into it.
Brand new tires, living accommodations, brake work, etc.
Currently the van is stored at my mechanics shop,
they can go into further detail about all the work they've done to it and what is needed to get it up and running.
