Used 1999 Chevrolet Corvette FRC for sale in Suffield, CT
Vehicle Description
The car is in excellent shape, always garaged and never sees rain, it only comes out on nice days.
Currently the odometer reads 46,750 original miles and a 6 speed manual transmission.
The car is a blast to drive and runs and shifts flawlessly with no warning lights on the dash, will occasionally throw a traction control light which is very common for these cars but is currently off.
Recent work completed in my ownership roughly 1,000 miles ago has received
•Fresh oil change with Mobil 1 full synthetic and Mobil 1 filter.
• New Professional Products Harmonic Balancer “common factory part known to fail so you don’t need to worry about that again”
•New Drilled and Slotted Rotors that were Zinc plated and Ceramic Pads to keep the brake dust to a minimum but also stop on a dime.
I’ve owned this car for the summer and bought it with intentions to have a fun weekend toy which has served its purpose well, it’s usually being cleaned more than driven when it does come out, and I’m deciding to sell to upgrade to a C6 corvette.
The car was purchased from an older gentleman that owned it for 7 years and put only 5,000 miles on the car in that time.
The Corvette has an aftermarket exhaust, I’m unsure of the brand there’s no names on it but looks like a Billy Boat from doing some research and it sounds great!
It also has C6 chrome replica wheels 19” in the front and 20” in the rear with 80% tread on the BFG tires. Other than that the car is completely stock.
The bad:
As mentioned the Traction Control light does come on randomly, which is common with any C5 Corvette.
The AC will need a charge.
Lastly, there is a slight scrape on the bottom drivers side rocker fiberglass panel from the previous owner as pictured hard to see unless you’re looking for it, rather more of an annoyance to me knowing it’s there but may not bother anyone.
That’s pretty much it for the bad the car is very fun to drive and with the looks of a Z06 it gets compliments from people at gas stations every time I stop.
I’m looking to get $13000 and I’m pretty firm I’m not taking thousands less so don’t bother...these cars are hard to come by especially for the most part being mostly stock and unmolested since a lot of people who buy the FRC turn them into a track car or modify them heavily.
I have a Clean Title in hand and a Clean Carfax aswell to the buyer.
