Used 1998 Toyota Sienna XLE for sale in Bridgeton, MO
Vehicle Description
We got Sequoia from in laws a few years ago and then we bought a camper. So we really didn't need the van anymore because we got it originally for our new baby 15 years ago. We still hung on to it, but now we got another camry from my parents. We now have 4 vehicles (all toyotas:) on driveway.definitely not needed for 3 person family.
Here is everything about the Van.

Newer radiator, starter, O2 sensor, spark plugs, rear shocks, front struts, tires, brakes, aftermarket radio, alternator.left rear tire will need to be replaced before the other 3
valve cover gaskets have been replaced but do leak already, so needs oil every month depending on how much you use.
long story coming here.3-4 years ago I replaced power steering pump, not a fun job, and on top of it I held the steering wheel too long after install to test for leaks, and I smoked the pump a bit:( It has Lucas power steering fix in it and it has worked fine since the install, BUT, it makes noise when you 1st start it up, not so bad in the summer, sometimes not even happen in the summer on start up.but takes a while longer to go away on a cold engine.especially winter time, pump still works when their is noise, it just might be irritating, not a belt whining sound, more like a lower tone rattle sound, also I changed the main hose for the pump, and didn't use the fancy very expensive one that is fit just for that model, I used a length of the hose that I cut to it, and then used a bunge cord to keep it from rubbing against a belt (works fine now for 4 years)
This minivan notoriously has front struts that the tops wear out and make noise on low speed bumps, so these struts are aftermarket KYB but also went bad on top like the manufacture.they work fine, just noisy at low speeds.if you replace, maybe try MONROE
windshield has a crack all the way across on the bottom
We just gave away the 3rd row seats because I was tired of pulling them out and putting them back in, when I used it for home depot stuff.this was right before we got the 4th car.:( whoops
These vans go forever, I'm sure its got another 100 to 200k left
one more thing, the right front wheel has an issue, I haven't had my mechanic friend look at it yet, I am guessing it is an inner tie-rod, not a hard fix, but I'm 51 and limiting myself to easier fixes for the vehicles that I actually use.
so it will drive and make it to where you need to go, the right front wheel will feel a wobble when braking or turning left
rear cargo side windows haven't worked for a long time, actually they would open probably but not close, those motors go out quick and when they stopped closing, we just decided to never open them
drivers seat is all power and works fine
sunroof works fine
has keyless aftermarket remote ignition.only have on key FOB for this
6 cylinder
check engine light on, you can turn it off and put the stuff in gas from Walmart to pass emissions easily
exhaust is quiet no leaks
full size spare
front window motors are good, but 13 years ago drivers side runner inside door for window came apart and my neighbor spot welded it, and it has held just fine, but if you have the window down, you should very lightly close the door, because you can hear the window rattle, so I tend to always have the window closed when I close driver door, or just baby it if window is open when closing door
all doors have aftermarket handles
driveside handle starting to get loose, needs inside cover taken off and retighten screw for handle, same with passenger sliding door
