Vehicle Description
My family bought this Jeep in Feb 2011 in Phoenix, AZ. Since then, it was my daily driver, however I have been in college for the past 6 years (undergrad and grad) and have driven minimally during that time. We have done 98% of all the maintenance ourselves (my father who is a auto glass installer and my brother and I who are maintenance in the Air Force), have a large amount of receipts and records of all parts and maintenance, and use very good replacement parts and oil, not stock or bottom shelf. As coming from Arizona, this Jeep has no body rust and barely has any surface rust on the frame. In March 2017 we replaced the engine with a new (professionally rebuilt) engine after one of the cylinders broke. Even though the speedometer is high (173,8xx), the actual mileage on the new motor is no more than 40,000 miles.
Although Wranglers are an American Icon, a dream car, the most customizable and operational car, and the best trail cars around, you have to understand it is a Jeep. It gets 18 miles to the gallon on the highway on a good day. It's loud on the road, not a luxurious interior, and something that you have to keep up on the maintenance.
This Jeep is the best 1998 TJ in New England, it has no rust! Also, a hard top and soft top, two sets of wheels, a lift and aftermarket lights and a new motor! This is the best jeep for someone to keep and build to their taste.

• BESTOP sailcloth soft cover with tinted windows purchased 1-2 years ago
• Black hardtop with tinted windows that we got from a friend who used his jeep only in the summer months with a soft top so the hard top stayed in the garage for years
• Cabelas TACTICAL front seat covers (there is a small tear in the drivers seat bottom cushion that I sewed before putting the cover on
• Quick release mirrors
• K&N cold air intake
• Throttle body spacer
