Used 1998 Dodge Ram 12valve Diesel Pickup. Quad Cab 8-Foot Bed for sale in Harrington, DE
Vehicle Description
This was the first new vehicle I ever owned and it saddens me to sell it but I no longer have a use for it as I’m not traveling like I used to and not needing a truck of this size any longer. It does have 251,000 miles on it (the vast majority of them highway), but the truck needs nothing and is ready to go wherever you’d like. I’d have no hesitation driving this across country right now, needs nothing. It is an early 1998 model with the highly sought after 12 valve Cummins diesel engine. The vehicle hasn’t been modified except for the addition of an electric fan kit with a manual on switch. The only body panel ever replaced was the plastic front lower bumper cover, which currently does have some light damage on the right end of it just in front of the tire. This truck doesn’t have rot (underneath either) and is original paint, with a few dents, dings, light scratches and some clear coat peel that is mostly on the cap. It has new Michelin tires, new batteries and recent Monroe shocks. The original carpet is in good shape as I have always had mats on top of them. The bed has had a bed liner since new also. The Leer cap on the truck was special ordered with locking full length side windows that hinge open, you can easily put a long automotive hood in through the side window. The truck was rarely driven in snow or icy weather. The dash is not cracked! When the rear end had worn bearings and races I installed a brand new rear from Chrysler. When the transmission needed replacing I bought a new transmission from Chrysler, my point is that no shortcuts were taken in the upkeep of this truck. All service is up to date and the truck needs nothing. Its still inspected for another year and has never had a problem passing inspection.
