Why I’m Selling
I am selling the car because I moved in with my partner and we didn’t need two vehicles.
I purchased this car in 2017 from family friends who moved away. It’s been a great little car, with tons of cargo space, and has gotten me through multiple moves across Virginia.

Condition of Car:
I will be as transparent as I can about the current condition of the vehicle. Regardless, this Outback Legacy has been a great vehicle for me for the past 5 years. What it doesn’t have in flash, it makes up for in reliability.

Cosmetic Damage:
– Left driver door trim partially broken off. Could potentially be fixed yourself if you’re handy.
– Round dent in rear-right bumper, about 4” across. Minor scuffing/scraped paint on bumpers overall. Plastic cracked on front bumper.
– Staining in the lower back seat upholstery. It was like this when I bought the car in 2017 and hasn’t gotten worse. I threw a towel down back there when I was driving it.

Other Condition Information:
– Check Engine light has been on intermittently. I’ve had it checked by mechanics multiple times (most recently Oct 2020) and told it isn't worrisome.
– The car was recently (6 months, <200 miles ago) taken in and fully checked/serviced by a mechanic. New brakes, tire rotations, oil change, etc. They didn’t find any problems.
– CD player has a loose screw/attachment and sometimes cuts off. The speaker system works fine.
– AC works intermittently. Heat works great.
– Not a repair, but good to know:
There’s a “parking lights” switch on the steering column that, if flipped, will make the battery die every time you park the car. It’s kind of hard to find and, if you don’t know about it, can cause some annoyance. As long as you don’t flip it, it’s fine, and the few times it's happened, I’ve never had an issue jump-starting the engine.
