Vehicle Description
1997 Ford E-350, Econoline Clubwagon, Shuttle-Bus. Converted into travel vehicle. Completely modified on the inside w/4 bunks and a secure metal cage.
V-8 diesel engine, 3.7liter. Regular maintenance always kept up. New glow-plugs, fuel filter, radiator, tires all around. All recall items have been updated. Other various elements have been fixed or replaced over the years, belts, hoses, etc... All lights, indoor and outdoor are in working condition. Wheelchair lift has been disabled and uninstalled, the doors have been locked shut but can be reopened.
It DOES need some love. This is the perfect vehicle for somebody with a little bit of experience... There are some electrical issues that will drain the battery if it sits for longer than about a month, it should be an easy fix but we don't have the patience or time. It needs an alignment and the airsuspensiom needs to be looked at, it fills up but will slowly leak when sitting. It's probably really easy, as we replaced the regulator awhile ago but haven't looked at it since. Anyone with some know-how can get under there and figure it out. The window of the wheelchair door needs to be resealed.
Inside has been stripped of all but 5 of the original chairs. Secure bunks and a lockable cage have been installed. This was used as a band tour vehicle for many years, but would be great for somebody or a group for adventuring.
