Up for sale is a 1997 SLT Laramie with the 12v 5.9 Cummins. The truck is the reliable shift on the floor 4 wheel drive, and only has 95,176 original miles. The truck is the Laramie, which is the highest option of the year. It has everything you could want in a truck including steering wheel cruise control, power mirrors/windows/locks, and even has the equalizer stereo. Everything works as it should, on a truck of this caliber. The underside is the best part of this truck, and to me the most important part of buying a truck of this era. Being from out west, where there is less humidity and no salt used has perfectly preserved the bottom side of this Dodge. The paint looks great as well, and leaves nothing to be desired. Its a truck that when you pull up to a gas station, 5 people walk up to you and ask you how many miles are on it and how its so clean. Needless to say its a conversation piece when you tell them it has under 100k on a 12 valve. The truck has clearly been meticulously cared for, and is only a 2 owner. Its very evident how it was treated and stored when it wasn't being driven. This is a truck anyone would be proud to own.
As for the maintenance it is perfect. It has a spotless accident free Carfax to include with the sale. You would be hard pressed to find a 1997 with a History like this one. All fluid changes and transmission services have been done on time, and the fluids stay clean. It just made a 2,000 mile trip a week ago, without a hiccup and was serviced a few days ago front to back including brand new 10 ply tires. You can make your own opinion on it the first time you take it for a drive, as its smooth as glass on or off the interstate, and needs nothing. It feels like you are driving a brand new 1997, and without hesitation I can say it will last someone forever if it gets maintained like it has been. This is a truck that checks all the boxes, and leaves nothing to be desired.
