Basics: LT1/6 speed car, t-tops, original paint (except underhood). 86,xxx miles on chassis, about 6,xxx miles on drivetrain/build. Purchased in Indianapolis in 2008, clean title in hand. 1997 is unique, as it is the last year of the LT1 engine and front end, but the first year of the new interior and tail lights used on the 1998-2002 LS1 cars.
It has never seen snow since I've owned it (3rd owner), and have only been caught in the rain maybe 5 times. Garage-kept with battery maintainer. I was told at time of purchase in 2008 that the previous 2 owners never had it out in the snow either.

Car has been completely gone through twice. Drivetrain over-built and conservatively tuned. Makes 648HP/585 TQ at wheels on 93 octane pump gas and current tune. Dyno proven@ Speed Inc, Schaumburg IL. Could hit 750-800 with blower overdrive pulley and race gas. Retained power steering, A/C, Cruise control.

Engine – LT1 383, 9.5:1 compression. 7qt Milodon oil pan, Melling HV pump, Eagle rotating assembly/SRP pistons. AFR 210cc CNC competition ported heads w/Harland Sharp 1.6 full roller rockers. LS7 lifters, dual valve springs, custom boost cam, Edelbrock LT4 intake, 58mm TB, 92# Siemens injectors. Electric water pump w/custom warning circuitry in center console. New alternator. New radiator/hoses. Poly motor mounts, custom catch can.

Management: EFI Connection 24X system – LS1 computer, LS1 coil per cylinder ignition, MSD wires.

Supercharger – Procharger F1A, custom fabricated charge piping, front mount intercooler, no methanol injection needed.

Exhaust – LPP wrapped stainless headers, 3” Borla tunable exhaust.

Trans/Clutch – Built T56 (850HP rated), McLeod steel flywheel & twin disc clutch, Wilwood adjustable clutch master, new OE slave and pilot bushing/throwout bearing installed during build. Hurst billet-plus shifter.

Rear: Moser 12 bolt, 33 spline axles, 3.90 gear. New custom driveshaft and rear end completely rebuilt in 2017 by Sadler Powertrain (Davenport, IA).

Fuel system: Dual Walbro 255 lph pumps in-tank, 2nd activated by pressure switch under boost. Aeromotive FPR. Oversized braided stainless fuel lines (replaced original undersized plastic lines).

Brakes – LS1 front brakes, high quality drilled/slotted rotors, Hawk pads.

Steering/suspension – Spohn oversized front/rear sway bars w/poly links. KYB fully adjustable struts/shocks front/rear. UMI on-car adjustable panhard bar, adjustable chassis-mount torque arm. UMI chassis stiffeners & rear end links. New OE tie rods. LS car steering shaft for more responsive steering.

Electronics- Removed traction control and ABS. Line lock installed on front brakes, MSD 2-step, small shift light with digital programmer, water pump power/ground loss indicators, switch on shifter for line lock and 2-step. 3-gauge pillar with Autometer mechanical boost gauge, electronic fuel pressure, AEM wideband O2. Indicator for 2nd fuel pump activation.
New custom shift knob with integrated button installed in 2020. Pics of shift knob are older - no more switch at the base of the shifter. New knob is almost identical but slightly larger.

Wheels/tires – Billet Specialties polished, 17x8 fronts, 17x9.5 rears. BFG sport fronts LIKE NEW, Nitto NT555 drag radials in back (NEW). Stock wheels/tires (excellent condition) to come with car (Drag radials on rear stock wheels).

This is about the cleanest, nicest example of an LT1 Camaro you will find on the road today. It is beautiful inside and out with more power than you'd ever need on the street.
