Vehicle Description
Approximately 175,000 miles. Odometer reads 172,xxx, but it stopped working a few months ago. The plastic gears in the speedometer probably need replacing, replacements are easy to find online.
1993 model with automatic transmission. California car since new. This is a great car for a home mechanic or Volvo enthusiast with the time to keep it on the road. We love this car but we have young kids and don’t have the time to take care of it!
Starter motor and transmission neutral engine switch replaced at Ackerman’s Servicing Volvo & Subaru in Berkeley.
Runs well.
Modern A/C system with no known issues, but needs to be recharged.
Electric windows, door locks.
Known issues: needs new brake pads. Shocks are pretty worn and should consider replacement soon. Overdrive defeat switch on transmission not working. Aftermarket stereo wasn’t wired correctly when we bought the car, and we never got around to fixing it. Rear passenger seatbelt needs to be replaced. Cosmetic issues like dents, dings, and some small upholstery tears. (It’s an old car!)
Clean title in hand. CA Registration is current.
