Used 1993 GMC Sierra K1500 extended cab for sale in Franklin, NC
Vehicle Description
V8 - 350 engine
5 Speed manual transmission with a 1st granny gear
Limited slip differential put in by the previous owner
I am the 3rd owner.
(Bought in December of 2019).
Mileage is approximately 151,000.
Many new parts have been replaced and many more have been bought that still need to be put on that will be included with the truck at sale time. A complete tune up has been done and more, most sensors replaced etc.
However, the truck’s engine is running rough when going down the highway, it starts well and runs fine in idle but not once moving, it lacks power, bogs down then lurches with a sudden surge of throttle. Many things have been tested but the problem has not been figured out yet.
The truck has installed:
New AMSOIL synthetic fluids throughout the whole vehicle;
in the engine, manual transmission, transfer case, differential, power steering, coolant and brake system. It has been greased throughout as well with synthetic high temperature grease from AMSOIL. The only place it has not been synthetically greased yet is in the wheel bearings which have the manufactured sealed hub type units.
Power Stop disc brakes in front (heavy duty towing version with the drilled and slotted rotors).
And new brake hardware in the rear, springs, adjustment arm, wheel cylinders, except shoes and drums which still have some wear left. The rear drums still need some further adjustment out.
New rear emergency brake cables to both rear wheels.
New brake hoses that attach from the hard lines to the disc brakes
New Master cylinder and
Brake booster
New blower motor
New marine grade wired negative battery cable
New wiring replaced where needed for sensors, grounds etc. when indicated
Has an Optima battery approximately a year old
Good tread on fairly new tires
New radiator hoses
New thermostat
New thermostat housing
New sway bar bushings
New sway bar linkages
Serpentine belt
I have:
A new distributor
a new extra Denso starter
New water pump with new mounting bolts
New Pittman Arm
and Idler Arm
and special hardware to stabilize the arms and front end more than originally from the factory
an extra brake hose for the rear
2 extra new Throttle position sensors
New hood bug deflector
And a few other odds and ends of new parts
The muffler will need attention some time soon as it has a slight leak at the passenger side back seam on top. The exhaust from the muffler rearward is newer than the rest of the exhaust.
Air conditioning looks at least to need a recharging, maybe more.
Radio/stereo unit doesn’t work
