Used 1993 Ford F250 7.3L IDI Diesel Banks Turbo for sale in Sisters, OR
Vehicle Description
The good:
- Rebuilt engine 2010. This was an engine swap project. The original IDI started knocking and it was replaced with this rebuilt IDI. The rebuild had over 200K miles, but around 50k since.
- Rebuilt transmission 2010. Less than 30K on the trans.
- Banks Sidewinder turbo with custom exhaust
- Aftermarket gauge set
- Wired for trailer
- Rear air shocks
- New Serpentine belt 5/18
- New belt idler 5/18
- New universal switch on steering column 5/18
- New starter 10/16
- New batteries 10/16
- New alternator 10/16
- Canopy
- Power windows roll up/down
- Power seat adjustments
- Tires still have 50%
The Bad:
- Body has rust. You can see the paint has rust spots. The underside is also rusted. The truck spent most of its life here...then I took it to Portland.
- Canopy door needs to be replaced
- Oil pan is leaking and probably needs to be replaced. It still runs. I can dump some oil in and start it for you if you come to look at it.
- Needs an alignment. The front right tire is clearly losing more rubber than the others. The steering wheel isn't straight.
Good engine. Good transmission. Banks Turbo. It would be good for an engine swap. I'm just never going to get to getting the old girl running again.
I imagine the engine/turbo/transmission is worth something...you just have to take the rest of the truck with it!
