Vehicle Description
'93 JDM right hand drive 4WD Mitsubishi Delica L300 Starwagon. Manual transmission with a high/low transfer case. Gas 4G64 engine (parts available in the US). Dual fuel tanks. Only 79k miles. Runs, drives, stops, and handles great! Ready for it's next adventure.
Very solid body; I have found no rust anywhere. Body is straight. Light pinstripes on the paint from camping that could easily be hand buffed out.
Accessories include: front door wind deflectors, longer rear hatch struts (flipped for additional clearance), Italian wood grain steering wheel and shifter, rack with ladder, mudflaps, high lift jack, accessory fuse box, on-board air compressor, inverter, driving lights, snorkel, fender flares, and vented front/rear differentials. New 31" tires and aluminum wheels currently with a 1" lift (parts are included to increase it to 2").
In under 7k miles I have done the following with new Japanese parts: balancer shaft seals, timing belts, tensioners, drive belts, oil pan gasket, ignition (cap, rotor, plugs, wires), HD extra- thick aluminum radiator, upper/lower rad hoses, thermostat, fan clutch, HD upper transmission mounts, OEM lower transmission mounts, driveshaft u-joints plus dynamic balance, front rotors/pads, battery, air filter, KYB shocks (long travel rear), transfer case output shaft seal, and a front end alignment.
Full cooling system flush, synthetic Motul gear oil (transmission, transfer case, front/rear differential), brakes and clutch flush, suspension points greased, and repacked front wheel bearings.
None of the following are of any sort of serious concern, but worth mentioning: steering rack boots are aging (new OEM included), front door window felt tracks are worn (available quite cheap via Amayama), and there is a random rattle in the front passenger corner I have yet to source. Various extra parts are included (I do have the triple gauge for the dash).
Cruises 70 mph down the highway with ease. Engine runs strong and revs out nicely. Transmission shifts like it should. Van is quite capable in 4WD. I have driven this to the Rockies and back along with numerous trips in my area. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Great visibility which makes it easier to drive than most RHD vehicles. This is a particularly nice example of an L300. Unfortunately for me, I am selling to pay off medical bills. Four1seven, four9three,three9three8.
