Vehicle Description
Pros: (all replaced while I have owned it)
NEW TRANSMISSION/NEW CLUTCH
New clutch slave cylinder
Resurfaced flywheel
New timing belt, drive belts and water pump
Radiator flush
Tires have about 20,000 miles on them, still plenty of life. Full size spare
New upper control arm assy and bushings
New glow plugs and glow plug relay
Replaced both batteries
I have paperwork for all the work that has been done while I have owned it
Extras:
Rear ladder to access roof
4 sets of towers and crossbars on roof
Cargo basket
ARB Awning
40 inch light bar. (It works great but I haven’t finished running the wire, it currently runs through the drivers door.)
Fog lights replaced with halogen lights
2 inch receiver
Snorkel
Custom couch/bed setup with storage underneath
Window shades for every window
Pioneer head unit (Bluetooth, aux, usb) with all new speakers and Rockford Fosgate sub woofer. The sound system is really nice.
Power inverter hooked directly to battery with two outlets. Great for running a fridge.
Cons:
Crack in windshield
Dent in sliding door. Last winter some snow got pushed by a plow into the side of the van while it was parked. The plow never hit the vehicle, it just pushed snow against it and dented the door. The door still functions fine.
One of the 1x4’s on the roof rack is warped and could be replaced
Starter motor could be replaced. Sometimes randomly the starter motor won’t spin when trying to start the van. It has been diagnosed as a starter motor problem. I’ve been driving it like this for awhile and it’s never left me stranded. It just sometimes needs a couple try’s to get it going.
Horn is not hooked up in the steering wheel. I unhooked it because I found it really touchy. It would take 2 minutes to hook it back up.
