Used 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 for sale in Centerville, IA
Vehicle Description
This VR4 is equipped with a twin-turbo, twin-intercooled 3.0L DOHC V6 mated with a Getrag 5-Speed All-Wheel Drive Transmission.
Good:
- Engine has currently 50 miles. I have pictures of the rebuild with receipts for parts and machining. I currently have SAE-30 Engine break-in oil running.
- Engine block is a 2-Bolt, honed and hot tanked. Oil gally plugs removed and replaced.
- 2nd Generation Forged Crankshaft, polished, never turned.
- OEM 8:1cpr 91.1mm Pistons, OEM Forged Rods, Enginetech main, thrust, and rod bearings.
- Fresh Cylinder Heads with OEM valve train, valves lapped, new valve stem seals, 3mm "1999" hydraulic lifters to eliminate lifter tick.
- All new gaskets and seals, i.e. rear main seal, camshaft seals, head gaskets, etc.
- Full "120k" service - Oil pump, water pump, timing belt, autotensioner, pullies.
- Rebuilt OEM TD04-9B Turbochargers.
- Brand new front and rear solid motor mounts.
- Manual Boost Controller set to 10psi with Autometer Mechanical Boost Gauge.
- EGR delete & Vacuum reduction (I have the OEM parts).
- Stillen 3" Downpipe.
- OEM Clutch and Flywheel.
- NGK BKR6ES plugs gapped to 0.32".
- Sony aftermarket stereo
- OEM removable moonroof.
- Brand new Clutch Slave Cylinder.
Bad:
- Few exterior trim pieces are showing their age, replaceable though.
- Small dents in the rear passenger quarter panel above the wheel well. No paint loss, definitely PDR-able.
- Active Aero does not work.
Overall, the car is clean and ready for a new owner. It runs, drives, and boosts great without any leaks/burns/grinds. The cruise control works and it has ice cold AC and hot heat.
