Because it's Metallic Tan, the paint job sucks. GM never got metallic paints right.
My sister borrowed it once and she backed into something so there is a crunch in the left rear near the trunk.
It has had a "Check Engine" light on ever since we owned it. Our mechanic said to never worry about it as it's a quirk of Buicks back then.
For the last 10 years the car has only been driven to get emissions test. I was getting ready to take it this year but it didn't start so I bought a new battery. Still didn't start but wanted to. I didn't know where to put starter fluid and gave up. Someone said it might be fuel filter. I decided, with both mom and dad gone, I really didn't need to keep it so am selling for $1200 as is with new battery. Tires are good. Interior is good. No tears velour. Glass is all good. AC works when it wants to.
I love driving this car because of the power and comfort, but I am tall and am used to high cars and trucks and find it confining it and low. But that's me.
The car has been totally serviced by Ramsowers Garage when it was owned by the Ramsowers. He treated it right and was very familiar with Buick Park Avenues. Nothing has been done to this car other than proper maintenance.
Does not drive currently as I don't know how to kickstart it. You are welcome to look at it and try to start it, obviously when I am here.
