1987 (last year of production) Chevette REAR WHEEL DRIVE, ready for your LS or GEN 1 V8 swap, or restore back to stock. This car weighs approx 2000 lbs (light).

This is a REAR wheel drive car, and a Gen1 V8 or LS can be shoe-horned into these with effort. For those who remember the Vega, know about these little cars.

Yes, this was grandmas Chevette. I bought the car sometime back, and spent alot of time and effort getting the car into good mechanical condition. By the way, I was a factory GM Chevrolet mechanic back in the day, when these cars were new, so I know them fairly well. Affectionately known as "Kirby" it is with sad heart I sell the car, but if your looking to get into one of these cars, I consider this a good choice. It has spent most if not all of its life in very dry eastern Washington state, thus it is not rusted out and fairly straight and solid. Its begging for paint, as the silver has become thin.
