Vehicle Description
This truck has a 302 V8 engine (same as the Mustang) and a 2WD automatic transmission.
This is a much loved classic American built truck that has helped me with countless house projects, taken me camping, hauled my bikes, hauled my friends' bikes and taken me, my wife and my dog for many rides in the country that usually included some bbq. It gets the “nice truck nod” regularly.
If you want a truck that does the job and looks good doing it, this is your truck.
How does it run?
The engine runs great. The doors open smoothly and the power windows all work. All repairs have documentation. Like most trucks this age, the heater works great, but the AC does not. The one thing it needs is a new or rebuilt transmission. The transmission pump has failed and it currently only has 1st and reverse. If you are a mechanic, then this is the SCORE OF A LIFETIME If you aren’t this truck is priced accordingly to give you money in your budget to get the repair done.
How does it look? GREAT! It has had some minor body work done but is mostly ding free. Paint has plenty of scratches as it is a work truck, not a show truck.
