Vehicle Description
#1 is a tan 1986 GMC Sierra 2500 with a service utility body and a wooden floor in the bed. This is a rare and sought after body style. It has a 5.7L (350CI) engine hooked to a 3 speed automatic transmission and only 90,000 miles.
The front end is wrecked. I was told that it rolled down a driveway into a pole. It did not get into the radiator.
The underside of the truck is very clean with only a very minor leak from the transmission pan. I drove this truck 65 miles to my home at interstate speeds and it ran/drove fine. Until two months ago, I had not started this truck in over a year. I pumped the gas twice and it started right away. The topper is sitting on the truck for a place to store it. It is not included in the price but can be bought.
#2 is a green 1984 GMC Sierra 1500 It has a 5.0L (305CI) engine and a 3 speed automatic transmission with only 58,000 miles on it. The green cab is about 95% rust free and is an A/C cab. The sheet metal on the 84 is nice and has great patina. The chrome front bumper looks new. The bed on this truck IS NOT INCLUDED but the tailgate is.
I drove this truck home same as I did the other. It ran/drove great. I had the cold A/C blowing to try it out and when I shut it off I blew a fan belt off, the engine backfired through the carb and gas got on the top of the engine and burned some wires. I could not restart the engine because of the burnt wires. I have not started it since. I would like to sell the trucks as a pair but will sell separately.
ASKING $3,800 for both or $2,300 for the 86 and $1,500for the green 84 but open to a reasonable offer.
