Vehicle Description
Totally a fun to drive, eye-catching automobile. She spins heads - it’s a great van to put your business name on and get some attention. I’ve used her on a couple of jobs and the folding seats and double doors are super practical. The size is deceptive, while it’s a small van there is tons of both leg and cargo room. The passenger seats flip easily, and also remove allowing the driver seat to fold all the way down for camping, etc. The engine is below, and there is a hatch that allows easy access.
Originally imported from Japan (although both fully legal and insurable here). The right hand drive is surprisingly easy to get used to, you pick it up almost immediately.
She runs, drives, and stops! Fairly simple motor in terms of maintenance. Basically a Honda Goldwing engine, so parts are easy to come by. She requires a little finesse on a super cold start - I feel like a tune up would fix that - If I haven’t had a chance for a tune up before you come and check it out I’ll knock a couple hundred off the asking price.
Was hoping to do a partial conversion for surf / beach trips - with a goal of converting to electric vehicle when and if the motor ever goes out. It’s super light, and from what I’ve read makes for a very easy conversion to electric.
Asking $5,000 - I’m very open to trades for a van that is a little more suited for Hawaiian roads that I could ship.
