Used 1983 Subaru GL Wagon - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle automotive... for sale in Bellingham, WA

Selling my 1983 Subaru Gl Wagon, I have owned this car for 3 years, gradually fixing it up.

Good:
-Rebuilt engine from the previous owner, only about 7000mi on that now.
-New fuel delivery system and ignition parts.
-New FR wheel bearings and CV axle.
-New front brake pads
-New FR brake caliper
-New WEBER carb, which has greatly improved fuel efficiency and reliability.
-Manual 4WD subie that runs and drives great, with minimal body rust. Gets 21 mpg hwy and 18 city at the moment.

Bad:
I have kept records of everything it needs and what I have done to it. (Its old, so it needs some love)
-some gauges not working
-Needs many suspension bushings replaced, so it rattles over bumps
-Needs rear brake overhaul at some point
-Interior has some wear as seen in photos.

I am hoping it will go to someone who loves these cars and wants to continue to keep 'er going for miles to come. Please email if interested, I am in no hurry to sell so reasonable offers only please.
