I bought this to use for my wife’s 50th birthday party. Since Covid hit, I could not rent one from anywhere. I wanted to do a 16 candles 80s movie type birthday event and so I bought this car and did a lot of repairs to get it in tiptop shape for that one Jake Ryan moment where he picks her up in a Porsche . It went great, and if you’re just bored and want to see the video of that portion of the party here it is. Exterior
Not bad for a 37-year-old car. There are a few dings, the paint job is not amazing but it’s not bad. I’ve tried to show the problem areas in the close-up shots. Interior
The interior is in good shape, everything works and there are no major issues. Engine
The car runs good, I just put in a new battery, new AC components, and replaced the manual rack and pinion which from what I understand is the most desirable in this year car.
