Used 1980 Subaru GL 4wd for sale in Kennewick, WA
Vehicle Description
When I bought this car, I was told it was an old farm car and it had been sitting for a couple of years.
The driver side CV joint needs replaced, the boot is torn really bad. That's the one I have a replacement parts for.
Ball joints and bushings look in bad shape.
The seals on the engine and transmission will need need to be replaced atsome point. You can tell where oil leaks from the valve covers, and I've noticed a small gear oil leak from the transmission. It is not leaving puddles of oil. The ignition tumbler sticks a bit, but it turns with a bit of a jiggle. The interior is in really bad shape. The dash is cracked and brittle. The seats need to replaced or re-upholstered, the springs and frames are good but the fabric is rough.
There is a bit of rust on two of the doors
It has eaten a hole, but I don't think it's bad enough to not be able to patch it. its tbe only rust ive seen.
I have only done a tune up/oil change hoping I can use it as a beater. The tires are new from August. I bought them at Perfection Tire in Richland. I've only driven the car around the block a couple times.
