Used 1980 eLCamino: one owner, stick on the floor Beautiful original for sale in Billings, MT

I purchased my baby, new, off the Billings, Montana Chevrolet lot, in 1980.
This comfortable riding, multi-use vehicle has been parked inside when possible, and sun shades always put up.
This truck runs great and starts every time. Like me, it loves winter.
Planned to keep her forever, so only top quality parts, service and the best care.
In about May, 2017, I had 4 new white wall, size 14, tires put on, a new car battery, locking gas cap, and new ignition switch. Later I had the right headlight replaced. (It worked; I just didn't like the crack in the glass.) Latest oil change, January 28, 2021.
New windshield wipers in 2021.

Having medical issues, as I get older, I have decided to sell to a good home.

About 100,400 respectful miles. Re-built motor in 1993.
3.8 V-6.
3 speed manual transmission.

*Stick on floor.*VERY rare.!

Beautiful head-turner cinnabar red. Same riginal color was re-painted in 1997.
Power steering and power brakes.
Does not have air-conditioning. Has had a few repaired fender benders.
Now has minor small and larger scratches and dings including a dent on back left rear. Smaller one in gate. On the passenger side there are dents; one in the door; Also scratched area near wheel well and trim. At this point I have lowered the price instead of putting more money into having my baby painted.
Interior: Tan color: About 1990, I added truck bed rails. In 1997 I had a new headliner installed.
Dash has small crack. The driver's left side seat, head rest, and steering wheel inlay show wear.
Small un-noticeable hole in flexible base of shift stick.
Since I have no family, the passenger side door and inside passenger side shows little or no wear.
Transmission overhauled in 2007.
September 2020, I had the alternator assembly replaced. April 2021, new battery.
I have most receipts of service and parts and will give to serious buyer, the name/phone# of painter, garage servicer, etc.
An example of one upkeep service receipt is shown in the photos.
Along with top-quality upkeep, this truck has most the original parts. I even have the original AM radio.

My ElCamino was in the 1998 movie "The Horse Whisperer", parked in front of the barn at the beginning of the barn dance scene. More photos available on request.
While driving back to Billings, I, Di, hit a bear on the right front of my car. I drove to where the sheriff could meet me, then drove home. It drove fine and about 2 months later, I had it all repaired and painted in September of 1997.

This very desirable El Camino is fun to drive. I get second looks, compliments, stories about the one they or their father had, or inquires every time I drive it.

"As handy as a pocket on a shirt", my Dad would say about my Chevy El Camino and is one of the reasons it is still the Car I Love. It is handy not only for hauling stuff in the truck bed, but there is an amazing amount of room in back of the seats and where the spare tire is located.
My red truck would be my first car, since at age 31, I proudly bought it new in 1980 solely on my own. Little did I know that it would become a classic and often total strangers, usually men, would stop, ask questions, and certainly compliment it. Everyone loves it.

The 1981 models received a new horizontal tube grill. The 1981 engines mostly continued from 1980, but now used GM's Computer Command Control (CCC) emission system. The base 229-cubic-inch V6 made 110 horsepower (down from 115)
