FIRST PHOTO SHOWS CAR BEFORE IT WENT TO THE BODY SHOP. 70,440 miles but driven occasionally since posting this ad. From the factory it looked like a "Rockford Files" car: Esprit trim, Laredo Brown/Camel Tan, a 305 2bbl SBC, and 2.4 gears. I've known it since 2006 at 59,000 miles but the car finally came to me in the summer of 2017.

10/27/2017 - TH-350 3-speed automatic rebuilt + new torque converter at Walt's Transmissions of Bowling Green, near WKU.
6/4/2018 - Jegs Crate 350 SBC was swapped in on. It has an Edelbrock Performer EPS intake manifold, Holley 0-80457SA 600 CFM 4-BBL carburetor, Flowtech Tri-Y Headers, Hooker Turbo mufflers, true dual exhaust with balance pipe, new: distributor, starter, fuel pump, and water pump.
AROUND THAT TIME: this car received an Addco p/n 977 7/8" rear sway bar, a new power brake booster, and new brakes all around - front rotors and pads, rear drums and shoes.
10/22/2018 - new tires: Cooper Cobra Radial GT RWL All-Season 235/70R15 102T M&S
AUDIO UPGRADED: For music you have an Alpine iLX-207 custom installed digital multimedia receiver and four Focal speakers. SXM, HD Radio, Bluetooth, works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Does not play CD's or DVD's. You get 3 Autometer gauges in a bezel that replaces the OEM storage pocket down low in the center console.
BODY WORK DONE AND BEING REPAINTED car came from Lou Fusz Pontiac in St Louis so it had faced rust problems. Now it has new front fenders and a welded-in right rear quarter panel. It has a right-side rocker slip-on panel also. Retrofit of OEM 3-pc rear spoiler. Color will be the paint formula for the actual gold “light topaz” color they used on the show for you, see photo and formula on the right side of that photo. Obviously, more photos will come soon once when I get the car back from paint.
NEEDING MORE WORK: I pulled off all of the gaudy chrome Esprit trim and saved what was worth keeping for you. New window and door rubber are in the trunk for after you paint the car. The dash panel has cracks. Front right front seat shows a repaired tear at a corner, visible in photos. Carpet ought to go but it’s there.
NOTES: It's an old car that drives out good. It doesn't pull or shimmy, but down the road the suspension could be gone through - ball joints, bushings, etc. In addition, the turn signals seem to work with a slow flash but the turn signal indicators are out in the dash. Included is a new turn signal switch and flasher should you decide to pull out the old one. The new motor is all about torque as it drives those low 2.4 gears. Good on the highway (70 mph is under 2400 rpm) and it will peel out if you nail it from a standing start.
One of the three actual Rockford Files TV show cars sold at Barrett-Jackson last winter for ~$120,000. This one can be had for much, much less, and it’s soon to be in the same color as the tv show cars!
