Located in California for the last 34 years this 1976 MGB is in very good condition. I have owned the vehicle for 41 years of its 43 years, 35 of which in California and 4 years garaged while I lived overseas. When not in use the vehicle has always been parked in a garage. I have all of the maintenance receipts since I have owned the vehicle and they will be provided as part of the sale.

Body:
The paint is original and still has some shine. The driver side rocker panel and driver side rear outer panel were replaced in Feb. 1979.

In a non-driving incident, the driver door was hyper-extended which caused a small crease in the front fender. Additionally there are two stress fractures and three surface rust spots. One fracture is next to the passenger side mirror and the other is on top of the rocker panel, inside the driver's door. The rust spots are quarter size. Two are in identical locations, both sides of the car next to the anchor points for the Top Cover. The third is near passenger side headlight.

The rubber bumpers are in great condition and show no signs of sun damage. The frame is solid and straight. The wheels are in excellent condition and have been repainted a couple of times.

Interior:
Very good condition. Dash (has quarter size star crack) and instruments are original. The driver seat has been renovated with new cushions, webbing and seat cover. Included in the sale I will provide new passenger side seat covers, cushions, and webbing as well as replacement headrest covers, for both seats. The door panels are in good shape, however, both door top rails are cracked and weathered. Hidden underneath the generic carpets are brand new rubber floor mats. Floor boards, on both sides, have had surface rust treatment.

Exterior:
Top has been replaced with the zippered window version, while the tonneau and top cover are original. MGB striping is original. The back-flow mechanism in the fuel filler tube was removed in order to accommodate the newer, stubby, gas station fuel pumps. Tires have substantial tread remaining.

Suspension:
All original except for some bushing replacements. The driver side leaf spring is sagging. The suspension could use an upgrade.

Engine/Under the Hood:
The original engine runs smooth and the compression is still good. Compression Check last July was #1-160, #2-155, #3-160, #4-160. There is no indication of burning oil, although, there is a minor engine oil leak. All components are original except I have replaced the radiator, alternator, water pump, master cylinder, smog pump & clutch.

Missing or Not Working:
- There is no radio or speakers
- Heater and Fan are not working
- One of the two horns not working
- Automatic choke not working

- Passenger side new seat cover and new cushions
- New u-joints, needs to be installed
