Used 1976 Ford Pinto Turbo Project for sale in Taunton , MA
Vehicle Description
1976 Ford Pinto turbo project. I haven’t had time to finish this project. Car runs but needs to be tuned. Has ignition was cutting out under boost. Don’t have time for this project anymore. I have the title. Brakes are out. Master cylinder is holding fluid but no pressure from the pedal. I have the other two matching outlaw II wheels for it but tires are too big for the front. I have a lot of spare parts that can go with the car. Other engine parts like stock turbos and some electronics. Let me know if you have any questions.
-2.3 turbo out of an 80’s Ford ( SVO Merkur Turbo Coupe )
-Bottom end was rebuilt when put in. Hasn’t been run for many miles.
-Turbo is a used Holset HY-35. Doesn’t smoke and has no shaft play.
-Adjustable boost controller (manual screw kind)
-Stinger tubular header
-Custom 2.5” exhaust.
-Rotated upper intake.
-Lower intake is port matched to the head.
-Front mount intercooler
-Factory 8” rear end (open diff 3.08 gears I think)
-Borg Warner T-5 transmission
