Used 1974 Volkswagen Beetle for sale in Butler, OH
Vehicle Description
Car is a 1974 Volkswagen Beetle with the odd, rareish autostick transmission, sometimes called a "clutchless manual". Consists of vacuum tube wizardry and servos.
Engine is locked up from sitting (no, it wasn't ran without oil, or mistreated, or spun a bearing). I bought it as a surprise project to work on with my dad, since it's his dream car, but he turned out not being interested. So now I'm selling it to you for half of what I paid because I hate looking at it.
Car is 97.5% complete, missing only a back seat. Electrics all work (lights, wipers, etc). I bought extensive literature on how to and where to fix these cars. It will ALL be included with your purchase.
Car has surface rust, and one dent in the hood, but is otherwise straight and solid. White in color, original paint. Car was stored inside until moved it out to take pictures.
Overall, it's a 6/10 car. Not very pretty, needs a decent amount of engine work (in the form of diesel fuel down the cylinders and a good soak to free it up), and could use some nuts and bolts and love. Texts preferred, NO CHECKS, EVER, I don't want help selling, and no trades unless positive value. I need cash for my Thunderbird project.
