1974 Mgb GT project car-V8 conversion. There has been much work completed and those who have worked on these cars can appreciate the time involved. There is no remaining rust on the body shell. The sills have been repaired with Heritage parts. The passenger floor has been replaced, the drivers floor was repaired. Main body cross member was replaced along with the floor stiffener driveshaft hoop. Single battery cage installed on passenger side. The engine compartment has been modified to late rubber bumper specs with a new Heritage front crossmember. Firewall has been modified to fit a Buick/Olds/Pontiac/Rover aluminum V8 along with a late rubber bumper steering column and new rack and pinion assembly. Rubber bumper engine crossmember. The body was sandblasted prior to repairs and was treated with phosphoric acid to protect from rust. There are a number of outer body customizations. The rear valance had been modified for a recessed license plate, removal of the reverse lights and relocation of the fuel filler. Front cowl air intake was removed as I had planned on installing a Vintage Air heat a/c unit and it was not required. This along with the reverse lights could be brought back out if desired as it was just a filler plate that was welded in place on top of the factory pressing. The body shell does not have any suspension on it but is on a rolling work platform that comes along with the car. The vehicle is largely complete. Present is all glass plus spares, all body panels, dashboard, seats, console, front and rear suspension, bumpers. There is no MG engine. A BOP/Rover block is included for mock up purposes. The heads shown in the pic are not included. Two MG four speed transmissions are yours if you want them.

I will be listing separately a partially rebuilt Buick 215 V8 engine, a untouched Oldsmobile 215 V8 with Buick heads included. A conversion plate to mount a GM 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission to the BOP/Rover V8.
