Used 1974 Dodge custom camper van for sale in Homosassa, FL
Vehicle Description
The van is a very basic, no AC, standard transmission, no radio, and slant six motor. Pictured is the build sheet still visible under the hood. The build sheet shows that this van was ordered with all heavy duty components, including, 12 inch rear brakes, anti spin rear axle with 4.1 gears, 10 inch clutch, and A250 3 speed transmission. The brakes are power assist with discs in the front.
The van has been painted both inside and out. I painted it so it is an amateur job. However it was sanded, primed, and painted with two coats of Rust-0-leum gloss white. I did not have to use any body filler as the van is rust free.
I bought it in running condition, however many parts were too old to save and needed replacing.
This was my listing last year. Since then I have turned the van into a custom RV. 300 watts of solar panels, 300 amp-hours of batteries, 2000 watt inverter, marine battery charger. Added bed, flat screen TV with CD- DVD player, Atari game console, air conditioner, shelves and storage cabinets.
