Vehicle Description

'72 VW Bug. Very Good condition. Runs great. RWD, Manual Trans., you know the rest. The Good: 23K orig. miles. We got this from Grandpa's garage. Upgraded the brakes to disc all around 2 yrs ago. New generator. Starts easy. New(ish) tires (2 yrs old). Under the car the pans are solid. No rust that I can see & we pinged the pans with a hammer and they're solid. We drive it to the store and back, mostly, to keep the seals fresh. I'm 6'4"- so it doesn't really fit. The Bad: v-e-r-y slow leak near oil filter. The window rubber probably needs replacing. There is a bit of rust near the tail pipes and on the passenger door (which I sanded clean and primered & clear-coated). It was in an accident in '97 and fully repaired (we have the documents for all work done).
