Vehicle Description
Original 1972 Datsun 240z I bought this car around a year ago with intentions to restore it back to original, I do not have the time for this project considering I have two other projects I am working on..
Now trust me I was skeptical of this story I’ve tried looking on all the car fax sites, and the car is too old to show.. so I asked the DMV and the only history the DMV has of the car is from 2018.. there was no record of it prior.. so I’m thinking it’s a legit 7000 mile car.. which a 30000 mile one just sold on “bringatrailer.com” for $130000+
These cars keep going up in value, and I do want to restore it.. but I just can’t afford it right now..
The car itself is numbers matching everything all original except interior
-interior is blue (redone) with shag carpet ceilings and seats
-rear hatch probley needs to be replaced or have a good medal smith work on it
-need front grill and bumper
-needs fender repair to restore completely
-underside looks relatively rust free and surprisingly good
-all mechanical functions work properly
The car runs and drives very well, maybe a new water pump, or thermostat needs to be changed or taken out runs a bit hot after 25 min or so but (I drove it on hot days) so it could just be so hot for the old girl.. radiator fluid is fine nice and green no signs of a head gasket
I want 8000 for it I don’t really feel like haggling.. 8000 is what I’ll take as is.
