Inside, six enjoy a comfortable, compliant ride in a spacious cabin trimmed with plush leather, a folding rear armrest, chrome and brushed metallic inlays, and ample headroom and legroom all-around. Up front, a power bench includes shoulder belts, a folding armrest, and outboard headrests for comfort. Purchased new from Pap's Lincoln-Mercury in Mountain View, California, this Continental made its way to the private collection of a PGA Tour Pro Golfer who traded it in to us. All numbers-matching, this car is largely as it left the showroom floor with the exception of an upgraded modern radio head unit and amplifier. Car comes with service manuals, sales literature, and lots of extra chrome (headlamp bezels, wheel covers, grille elements, etc.)!
A true sight to behold and even more impressive to drive, '69 is the last year for the suicide door Continentals, making this beauty even more special. This was also the bodystyle used for Nixon's Presidential State Car.
