1968 Jaguar E-type, 4.2-litre Series 1 ½ roadster, European specifications, 34.5k documented original miles, factory hardtop, opalescent silver gray w/red interior, covered headlights, triple carbs, interior dash toggle switches. Concours level nut and bolt restoration carried out in 2015. Three owners from new with ownership history. All matching numbers with Jaguar Heritage Certificate. Impeccable condition. Completely disassembled and striped to bare metal. No rust whatsoever. All new brakes and hydraulics, new clutch, front and rear IRS suspension completely gone through, rebuilt and detailed as necessary. Compression averages 175 psi across all cylinders. Fully rebuilt SU carbs. New water and fuel pump, hoses, clamps, etc. etc. All receipts and photographs of restoration process….too numerous to mention. Sensible upgrades including high-capacity alloy radiator with improved fans, spin-off oil filter, lightened flywheel, gear reduction starter, electronic ignition, stainless steel exhaust. All brightworks either in original excellent condition, or re-plated and polished as needed. Complete new interior w/ LED lights. New canvas soft top and tonneau. Custom car cover. Many original parts including the leather seats and radio. Currently fitted with 15-inch Motolita steering wheel, but original steering wheel included. Original Dunlop spare tire that has never been on the road. California black license plate. Clear title. Serious offers considered.
