Vehicle Description
Runs and drives excellent. Older restoration and matching numbers 327, transmission with Vintage Air. Acquired from Troy (Barney) Truex collection, who is the uncle to (Nascar’s) Martin Truex Jr.
Research shows it was born RS painted Ash Gold with a black vinyl top. I don’t know the history beyond acquiring the vehicle and what I have put into it that includes…New Demon 625 Carburetor. New Billet Distributor, Coil, wires, and plugs. New brakes, wheel cylinders.
I can tell you there was a ton of time and money devoted to the restoration and it appears to have been ground up. The body is straight with a very slight ding in the driver’s door that can’t be photographed. The paint is 8-of 10 except for a few very small paint bubbles in the area where the vinyl top once was. A few other small ones exist on the passenger rocker. Please note none are broken. Small paint chip on the rear near driver’s taillight.
The interior looks great no rips or tears anywhere. Mini gages were added that include Oil, Temperature, Volts, and Tachometer. Everything works as it should. Feel free to contact me with any questions
