Vehicle Description
Car runs and drives good, original 289 V8, top end has been rebuilt. New tires. New Holley 4160 4-barrel carb, Stealth aluminum intake manifold, heads rebuilt by RPM Speed and Machine in Leland NC, vintage Mickey Thompson valve covers, new coil, plugs, and wires. Aluminum radiator and new master cylinder. 3-speed manual transmission. Car has original paint and hand painted pinstripes with original trim and interior with a new OEM style carpet kit. The Fairlane is a soild car with some rust but good for its age. The passenger rear floorboard had some rust areas but were cut out and replaced with new metal. Some rust spot on the rearpasenger wheelwell. Other issues: the gauge cluster doesn't work; the turn signals don't work; notable wear and tear on the driver side of front seat; has a small oil leak.
