Mostly original car with "numbers matching" engine and transmission. Always garaged and covered. Frame-on, bumper-to-bumper restoration. New carpet set and new tires installed in 2019.
Considered a high-quality driver with no squeaks or rattles. All chrome/stainless steel is in good condition with patina. Car show award winner.
Modest modifications to enhance handling, performance, and reliability such as Cragar SS wheels, "Be Cool" aluminum radiator, Holley intake manifold, MSD electronic ignition system and aluminized exhaust system with custom "H" pipe installed.
10,919 convertibles were built in 1963 in St. Louis, Mo. This car is one of only 919 originally manufactured with a (non-synchro 1st gear) Saginaw 3-speed. The original transmission is boxed, rebuildable, (synchros worn out) and included. Another Saginaw 3 speed for parts is included.
Engine: 327cu. in. (small block), 300+ horsepower due to modifications. Only 3,892 base models built with the 327/250 H.P. engine.
Transmission: Borg-Warner T-10 four speed manual (factory option in 1963)
Rear-end ratio: 3:36 (highway gears)
