Replaced the tires
The previous owner started t restore this beauty around 8 years ago. It got a new paint job in its original color Tawny Rose Metallic and Arctic White, front seat redone, taillights and rear bumper re-chromed, engine got a valve job. Alternator was rebuilt and new shocks installed. Rest of the car is all original. Original 364 Nailhead and Dynaflow transmission. After this partial restoration the car was driven for approximately 2t mls and stored for the rest of the time. The previous owner never put the trim back on, but I have all the trim (incl new clips). Trim is all labeled and therefore easy to put back on.
This car came originally from Nebraska and Iowa. There is no rust or rot on this car. It is super clean!!! See pictures. In NJ since 1997 and always in a heated garage.
Wipers, heating, lights, brakes work well. Glass is all good. Comes with clean NJ title, service manual, org. owner’s manual, sales brochure and a lot of receipts for the recent works. Seat belts in the front and rear.
It still need some attention: gear indicator doesn’t work (I didn’t care, it’s an automatic anyway) and there is a vibration in the transmission or drive shaft. Engine idles fine but as soon as you rev it up it starts to vibrate. I`m pretty sure it’s not an engine problem (engine runs smooth). it’s either the flex plate or the torque converter that is out of balance. I don’t have the room and time to keep working on the car. My loss you gain. You won`t find a cleaner one for that price. Make me an offer, worst I can say is no.
