Used 1956 Chevrolet Corvette really nice can be original - cars & trucks... for sale in Minot, IL
Vehicle Description
Original California car, clean title, has new high performance 350 and Muncie 4 speed, converted to front disc brakes with proportioning master cylinder mod, new wiring, shocks, under coating, new seats, etc, still needs soft top assembled and installed, bows are powder coated, has new canvas, but it has been in trunk for years....
NO rust on frame, suspension, etc body very straight, doesn't have to be painted in my opinion - really nice car, drives and handles great....
Still needs some chrome and miscellaneous parts to complete restoration....
Have all original parts including 265 V8 and 3 speed trans, radio, front hubs, orig master cylinder, gauges, wheel discs, etc to put back to original - have an original 56 hard top for it as well, good condition, good glass, but has deep scratch in roof....
$4000 additional work done on it since I brought up from California, additional engine wiring, after-market gauges installed, new shocks, a couple of broken wheel studs installed, brake system gone over, some new lines, engine tuning, etc. so that it is now a good driver....
Work I had done prior in California:
-sand blasted and painted all loose parts and any that needed to be removed for other reasons
-removed and repaired seat frames, painted
-new seat covers, foam, etc and assy done at upholsterer
-restored trunk, gas tank/convertible bay, passenger compartment and wheel wells with rhino lining
-restored engine bay
-rewired complete car including lights just need dash components
-supplied and installed high performance @390HP 350 engine, painted correct color for 56 only
-supplied all 'NEW' hardware for work done
-gas tank and line cleaning
-brake master cylinder and wheel cylinder replacement
-brake line repair and restoration
-front disc brake package installed
