Manual original 3 speed on the column
Very strong running engine, clutch transmission, etc. Over $12,000+ in parts in the last year. The title is showing 26,700 original miles, and it's a clean PA title. I do not know if this is correct or not, as the car sat as a display for at least 25 years.
Everything works as it should, except the windshield washer system.
This car is very reliable and can be driven anywhere with confidence. I have a list of all the parts and work done to the car and a lot of its history. It has NEW original color codes paint outside and inside, new tires, brakes, including all-wheel cylinders, and lines. New gas tank and gas lines, NOS muffler, and original interior, that will need to be replaced. This is not a show car, but an example of a 98% original 1955 Chevy almost exactly as I drove in high school. New heater radiator, motor, controls hoses. New windshield vacuum wiper motor, wipers, and controls New ignitions switch, headlight switch, 1 key fits all doors and ignition and 1 key for the trunk, new spare tire.
It has some upgrades, such as a Classic Car Stereo system with Bluetooth, looking just like the original radio, new antenna, (I have the original working radio) LED headlights, and a new Alternator (I have an original re-built generator and regulator. This car is just fun to drive, with the manual shift and everyone seems to smile and wavy at it.
