1948 Willys CJ-2A 4WD Jeep Super Package – Have clean title in hand. Complete dis-assembly of every sub-assembly and group then rebuilt from ground up. All new bearings, seals, bushings everywhere axles, trans, transfer case. Vilas Motor Works in Bryan Texas completely rebuilt the L-134 engine, sleeved back to .010 specs. Have all receipts. I start and run every 3 weeks or so and drive few trips around neighborhood to keep it maintained. Optima Red Top installed, and can have nice charger to go with it/maintenance. Frame blasted and coated with Eastwood sealants, again have all receipts, new clutch, completely new brake shoes, cylinders, custom nickel/copper brake lines, all new hoses, gauges, gas tank, seats frames, canvas, etc. BMJP mil repro copper cored radiator. New body tub, fenders. New leaf springs, shackles, shocks, u-bolts, bushings, Warn Locking hubs, Military NDT 17” tires, split combat rims, even spares. ORD restored tire pump, spare tubes etc. Just detail items left to do I can no longer finish due to knee & back health issues, like finishing leather shift boots, and adjusting brakes, and final painting. Mil spec khaki and OD paints in gallons ready to go. Have a pair of restored/original 1948 Texas plates that state will allow using to license jeep.

The super package part…This jeep and all the spares listed was to go overseas with us for retirement fun, but I will no longer be able to handle the physical aspects of this huge lot of parts, so here is what is included…Another frame/spare running gear including L-134 engine(not frozen), axles, trans, transfer, have couple more wheels with tires stored so frame can be rolled/loaded. Heavy duty Ramsey PTO winch (PTO installed on rebuilt jeep). Also another spare L-134 engine stored in garage, with good intake and exhaust manifolds, and additional cast housings for T-90 trans, and Spicer 18 transfer cases, a NOS Willys L-134 head, a spare New distributor, oem distributor, seal kits, gasket sets, several Carter WO carburetors that are complete. A new Solex carb, couple extra original starters. This model still used many running gear parts and engine parts left from WWII production and have many special re-build parts. Several oem fuel pumps, parts, kits. I have a large roll of military heavy OD green oil canvas I intended to make a custom top with eventually. The present vinyl top I bought new and keep in good shape with Armor-All. I have a complete set of snow chains. NOS heater from Mutt with 12V blower installed. Lots of additional mil surplus items like footman loops, tie anchors, latches, folding steps, grab bars, decals, wiring connectors. I will include canvas pouches that I have for tools, manuals. Any special tools like hub socket, NOS mil spark plug wrench, drain pan wrench, battery lug puller all included. You will literally get every part I have for these model jeeps including manuals and rebuild guides. You will get more value than I can recover, as you already know if you work with Willys jeeps.
